5g Coco Buffered

Buffered Coco Peat 5kg Blocks by Shiriman Global Exporters

Optimized Growing Medium for Precision Agriculture At Shiriman Global Exporters, we provide high-quality Buffered Coco Peat 5kg Blocks, specially processed to meet the advanced needs of professional growers, nurseries, and hydroponic farms. These blocks undergo an essential buffering treatment, making them a superior alternative to raw or unprocessed coco peat.

Key Benefits

Ready-to-use substrate with reduced salinity and optimal pH
Prevents nutrient lockout and common deficiencies in early plant growth Promotes vigorous rooting and faster plant establishment
Ideal for sensitive crops like tomatoes, capsicums, lettuce, strawberries, and cannabis.

Our buffered coco peat is produced in state-of-the-art facilities using precision treatment protocols and multiple-stage rinsing, ensuring consistency and compliance with global agricultural standards.

At Shiriman Global, we don’t just export coco peat—we engineer growth substrates that enhance plant performance and empower growers worldwide. Our commitment to sustainable sourcing, fair trade, and eco-conscious innovation makes us a trusted partner across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East.

What is Buffering? Why It Matters

Raw coco peat naturally contains elevated levels of potassium (K⁺) and sodium (Na⁺)—elements that can disrupt nutrient uptake in sensitive crops by competing with essential nutrients like calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺).

Buffering is a post-washing treatment that:

Flushes out excess potassium and sodium ions
Replaces them with calcium and magnesium
Enhances the cation exchange capacity (CEC) of the medium
Ensures more balanced nutrient availability for plants
The result is a stable, grower-ready substrate that supports stronger root development, healthier nutrient absorption, and consistent crop performance, especially in hydroponics, greenhouse farming, and high-value crop cultivation.

Key features of 5 Kg CoCo Buffered

Treated with calcium nitrate to remove excess sodium and potassium, ensuring safe use for all crops—especially sensitive ones.

Maintains a low electrical conductivity (EC < 0.5 mS/cm), ideal for seed germination, hydroponics, and precision agriculture.

Using coir helps to manage agricultural and industrial waste by repurposing coconut husks, which reduces waste and supports a circular economy.

No further treatment required—simply add water and expand for immediate use in pots, beds, or grow bags.
